The Ohio Governor’s Imagination Library is starting a new chapter in early childhood literacy across Ohio. Through a partnership with Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, Lifeline Inc. is working to send every child in Lake County from birth to age five a new book each month. We’re introducing 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten! Be sure to stop by the library and register for this reading program! Just check off the circle as you read each book. Bring in your completed sheet, receive a sticker, and continue reading. A picture of your child can be taken when she/he reaches 500 and 1,000 books for our brag wall. Your child will also be given a new book!

When you visit our library, you’ll see a beautiful aquarium of fish and a cage with Charlotte and Goose, our adorable guinea pigs!
